Large global organizations do not stand still and are constantly looking for new opportunities to optimize the work with their audience. Then blockchain technologies and NFT objects come to the rescue. Since January, more than 6,000 unique trademarks have been registered in the United States, which are non-fungible tokens.

Last year, the number of such NFTs was significantly lower - 2100. In 2022, the highest figures were recorded in March. At that time, more than 1,000 trademark applications were processed. Then, a decline in requests was for registration there.

Analysts note that the NFT industry is not showing the best results right now. For example, sales volume on the popular OpenSea marketplace decreased by 60% in July-September.

Crypto investor Katie Haun notes that NFT has every chance of developing in the near future. This is due to the expansion of Web3 and the interest of the crypto community. It is possible that the future of the non-fungible token industry depends on the activity of users in Metaverse.

Moreover, she noted that despite the decline in demand, a number of well-known brands continue to work actively in the field of NFT. For most, it is some way of communicating with consumers.
