Career growth of Eric Anziani

Eric Anziani completed his Master of Science degree in 2003 and has received an MBA in Marketing/Marketing Management from INSEAD (2011 - 2012). He started his career at EA Web Services and eventually became president in 2006. Subsequently, he became an analyst at Goldman Sachs, London for two full years between 2006 and 2008. In 2008, Eric became Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, Singapore. Eric's six years at McKinsey as a Project Manager, who has demonstrated experience in the Financial Services, Lifestyle/Retail and Digital/High Tech sectors, has led him to have experience in Asia (Singapore to Indonesia, Thailand, China and Japan) and Europe. In 2014, Eric returned to PayPal Singapore as Senior Global Strategy Manager for Asia Pacific. As a senior manager, he has demonstrated experience in strategy, partnerships and gaining experience in the Asia-Pacific region and in particular North Asia (China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan). Eric has developed a three-year growth plan for key North Asian markets. Eric developed a money transfer strategy for the Asia-Pacific region and a coordinated rollout of global initiatives in the region. He was able to negotiate acquisitions and major commercial partnerships. Eric also started and coordinated go-to-market initiatives in the region at the time. He also developed strategic solutions for promoting and scaling overseas purchases of Chinese digital buyers. All of these achievements were achieved during the two years he spent at PayPal as a senior manager.

Eric's role at Crypto.com

Eric Anziani joined Crypto.com as Senior Vice President of Group Strategy in February 2018. At Crypto.com, he led a team of thirty people and provided direction for the organization's blockchain engineering and research division. As CSO, Eric provided product strategy, design and development (including product priority map, UI/UX, PM, QA). Eric Anziani was named Chief Operating Officer in September 2019. He managed an outstanding team of over 80 people. His responsibilities include strategy, partnerships, product, data engineering and analytics, blockchain integration and research, and more recently growth. During his time at the company, Eric was instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing the company's major initiatives, notably Crypto.com Chain. It focuses on driving excellence across the organization, promoting a data-driven culture, and putting the platform's customers and community at the center of what they do. As COO, Eric will provide company-wide leadership, direction and vision as he helps to guide Crypto.com in implementing growth-focused strategies. The newly appointed COO commented that he is thrilled to be working alongside many exceptionally talented colleagues to bring the vision of crypto to life in every wallet as they continue to build and deploy products that help to drive crypto adoption.
