Eric Anziani's Career Growth

Eric Anziani pursued a Master of Science degree in 2003 and later earned an MBA in Marketing/Marketing Management at INSEAD (2011 - 2012). He began his career at EA Web Services and eventually became President in 2006. Subsequently, he served as an analyst at Goldman Sachs, London, for two full years from 2006 to 2008.

In 2008, Eric became an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, Singapore. Eric's six years at McKinsey as a project manager, demonstrating expertise in financial services, lifestyle/retail, and digital/high-technology sectors, gave him experience in Asia (from Singapore to Indonesia, Thailand, China, and Japan) and Europe.

In 2014, Eric resumed his career at PayPal, Singapore, as a Senior Manager for Global Strategy in the Asia-Pacific region. As a Senior Manager, he demonstrated expertise in strategy, partnership, and experience acquisition in the Asia-Pacific region and, in particular, in North Asia: China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan.

Eric developed a three-year growth plan for key markets in North Asia. He also developed a money transfer strategy in the Asia-Pacific region and coordinated the deployment of global initiatives in the region. He was able to negotiate acquisitions and major commercial partnerships. Eric also initiated and coordinated market entry initiatives in the region at that time. He developed strategic decisions for the promotion and scaling of overseas purchases by Chinese digital buyers. All these achievements were accomplished during his two years at PayPal as a Senior Manager.

Eric's Role at Crypto.com

Eric Anziani joined Crypto.com as Senior Vice President of Group Strategy in February 2018. At Crypto.com, he led a team of thirty people and managed the blockchain engineering and research division of the organization.

Eric provided product strategy, design, and development (including product roadmap prioritization, UI/UX, PM, QA). Eric Anziani was appointed Chief Operating Officer in September 2019. He managed an outstanding team of over 80 people. His responsibilities now include strategy, partnership, product, engineering, and data analytics, integration, and blockchain research, and most recently growth.

The Crypto.com exchange was founded in 2016 to accelerate the world's transition to cryptocurrency. Key products include:

  • the Crypto.com App - the best place to buy, sell, and pay with cryptocurrency;
  • the MCO Visa Card - a metal card with no annual fees; and the Crypto.com network, which allows users to pay and get paid in any cryptocurrency, anywhere, for free.

Crypto.com's headquarters are located in Hong Kong with a team of more than 150 strong.
