MEEDS is a community of individuals actively working on creating a decentralized platform aimed at facilitating future work activities. Introduction
Currently, the Meeds Association is monitoring the development of open-source software used by Hubs and WoM. They also oversee the issuance and distribution of Ɱeed tokens, which have received legal recognition from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). The goal of the Meeds Association is to create a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) involving Meeds stakeholders and gradually transition management and functions to the community.
Hubs provide incentives for workers who receive rewards in the form of Ɱeed tokens. With their earnings, participants can enjoy privileges, make donations, or invest in cryptocurrencies.
WoM provides an opportunity for everyone to improve their reputation through their work, which they submit to Hubs. Xeeds are composite profiles that record reputation in a specific form.
Documents are represented as NFT (non-fungible tokens) that are part of WoM and grant their owners the right to join the community in a Hub. Any participant can create a document and then lease it through a decentralized marketplace.
What does MEEDS
MEEDS is a company engaged in several important activities:
- The regulation of token issuance and management of related incentive programs is handled by Ɱeed. MEEDS is responsible for controlling the issuance and distribution of Ɱeed tokens, as well as developing and managing various incentive programs associated with these tokens.
- MEEDS actively develops and provides open-source software that simplifies the operation of Hubs, enabling users to access various features and capabilities.
- Creating WoM (Word of Mouth) and launching Hubs as a free and decentralized service. MEEDS creates WoM, which means that users can recommend and share information about various products, services, or events with other users. Additionally, MEEDS is launching Hubs, which is a free service that facilitates decentralized user interaction and allows them to exchange information and ideas.

The phase of token issuance
Tokens Ɱeed are gradually released at a rate of 10 per minute until reaching the hard cap of 100 million Ɱeed. The issued tokens are directed to the Meeds DAO fund and distributed among various initiative groups:

The support phase
