Mortegard — an NFT based Kingdom Builder on Polygon. Each castle card entitles you to 18 land "tiles" in Mortegard, which you can develop as you see fit. Reinvest in your kingdom, using the resources you generate, change the fate of the world by investing resources in story events or sell the surplus in Uniswap LP.
About Mortegard
Mortegard — a fantasy world simulator, created for the Polygon network. In the Kingdom Build mode, players own castles and control the surrounding lands, improving them by creating (minting) "development cards" (ERC-1155 NFT), using the tokenized resources. These developments in turn produce additional resources. These resources can help to participate in fantastic events that shape the world and history, as well as to receive limited release rewards, sell in Uniswap liquidity pools to other players or for a number of other planned game mechanics.
Other features:
1. | Each piece of land is represented by an ERC-1155 NFT. Players will generate tokenized resources, including food, mana, wood, gold and iron, each represented by ERC-20 tokens. |
2. | These tokens will be accumulated through the placement of NFT assets (castles, developments and courtiers) and can be claimed at will. |
3. | For gameplay mechanics, tokens are consumed (burned) to create in-game assets or to participate in seasonal events with further rollout, planned for future iterations. |
The first iteration of the game client is an interactive DApp, built with Unity to run in the browser. This display allows players to view their resources and generation, as well as manage their castles and development. At the same time, it is easy to access contracts in order to create, improve and dismantle developments, give resources to events, place / withdraw bets in the possessions of your kingdom and receive your bet rewards.
More about the gameplay
Castles are the backbone of the player's kingdom. Each new ruler needs a base castle (or outpost) to start building a kingdom. Most castles provide a modest level of resource generation and 18 hexes of land to house mining.
New castles will be minted and sold in limited quantities each season, and from now on, they can be freely traded on the player market without periodic royalties.
