Starbots — a BattleBots-inspired universe, where players build fantasy robots to fight other competitors, collect items and NFTs.
Robots come in all shapes and sizes. The body, weapon, device and wheels are the four components of a complete robot. Players are allowed to collect these various parts and create and enhance their own robots. Players can earn GEAR tokens by strategically building robots, winning battles, completing missions and conquering new lands.
To ensure open, transparent ownership and a liquid, secure marketplace, Starbots is built on the Solana blockchain. Players will have full control over their robots and will be able to trade and sell them in a safe and efficient way.
Throughout the adventure of Starbots, players will be able to engage in not only profitable, but also entertaining gameplay:
| 1. | Robots will automatically destroy enemies, which will create an unpredictable and exciting battle. |
| 2. | A diverse selection of in-game components allows players to customize their combat robots to their liking. |
| 3. | Different weapons, combined with different body parts, give completely random stats. Then victory in the battle will depend not only on strength and luck, but also on the player's logic to combine them. |
Starbots has two different game modes: player versus player (PvP) and player versus environment (PvE). Each mode offers different game features and mechanics.
In PvP, two real players go into battle with each other, and whoever wins gets vGEAR and DP to boost the rating system.
In another game mode, PvE, players need to defeat a boss in each stage. This will give you rewards (vGEAR, loot boxes...) and experience to level up your robots.
Use of tokens
Starting in 2022, players can earn a governance token, BOT, which is a real slice of the gaming universe as it has governance rights and reward distribution, built into it. Players can place BOT bets to earn rewards. BOT tokens will be used on the NFT Marketplace and other platforms in the Starbots ecosystem. Its owners can vote on game features. BOT can be used to level up body parts in certain stages.
GEAR token — an SPL token on the Solana blockchain that will be the main in-game token for Starbots. The user can earn GEAR by doing the following: competing in various PvP/Starbots Championship modes, earning rewards in PvE mode and doing activities that contribute to the development of the ecosystem.
