9 Lives Interactive has raised $3 million for the development of Nyan Heroes, a hero shooter featuring cats in leading roles, utilizing blockchain technology. The funding round was led by Mechanism Capital, with participation from Sfermion, 3Commas Capital, Delphi Digital, Kosmos Ventures, Devmons GG, and CSP DAO. These funds will be used for further development of Nyan Heroes, aiming to attract a wide audience with its unique gameplay.

The 9 Lives Interactive team, formerly known as Rude Robot Studios, consists of industry veterans who have worked at companies such as Electronic Arts, Bungie, and Ubisoft, and receives advice from experts from Riot Games and Twitch. Created on Unreal Engine 5, the game offers players to dive into a world where cat characters control powerful mechs to save their universe. Nyan Heroes introduces 8 unique guardian classes, each with unique abilities. The game unfolds against the backdrop of the dynamic world of New Nekovia and offers a vivid visual component and a competitive scene.

The game's ecosystem revolves around the $NYN token, which aims to add value through market fees, creation fees, and studio revenue buybacks. This token uses deflationary methods and serves as a governance tool with staking capabilities. Early access is already available in the Epic Games store, and airdrop missions offer the opportunity to interact with the $NYN token.

As the launch of Nyan Heroes approaches, the gaming world is closely watching this unique combination of shooter mechanics, blockchain technology, and cat characters, setting a new standard in the gaming industry.
