OnChain Studio, Animoca Brands Japan, and web3 entertainment company Apas Port have joined forces to introduce new features of the Cryptoys digital toy collection. OnChain Studio, headquartered in the US, already features its own Cryptoys character collections, including Zoo-F-O Escape, Star Wars characters, Mickey and Friends, and Masters of the Universe. By integrating these collections with various activations, the three companies aim to create an expansive entertainment universe for Cryptoys collectors.

CEO of OnChain Studio, Will Weinraub, expressed enthusiasm about expanding the Cryptoys brand into Japan and connecting directly with collectors. The collaboration seeks to capitalize on the significant interest in Cryptoys from Japan and the broader region. Weinraub mentioned upcoming activations in the following months, anticipating a positive reception among Japanese collectors.

Through Cryptoys' platform, users can unbox their digital toys, featuring both new and familiar characters. Collectors have the option to preserve their toys in mint condition or unwrap them, revealing animated toys with unique personalities and signature moves. In an effort to appeal to a wider audience and attract a new user base, Animoca Brands Japan and Apas Port plan to devise various activities to promote this fresh Cryptoys experience.

Daisuke Iwase, CEO of Animoca Brands Japan, expressed delight in collaborating with partners to introduce the attractiveness of web3 through digital toys featuring beloved characters widely popular in Japan. The collaboration represents a strategic move to leverage the popularity of Cryptoys and deliver an engaging experience to collectors, emphasizing the integration of blockchain technology and digital assets in the entertainment space.
