ProShares to debut short Ether ETF in november

In November, ProShares plans to introduce the ProShares Short Ether Strategy ETF (SETH). This ETF, one of three Ethereum futures exchange-traded funds (ETFs) offered by ProShares, is intended to mirror the daily performance of the S&P CME Ether Futures Index by performing the opposite.

Even though it doesn't directly short Ether, it hopes to make money when the price drops. SETH is expected to list on the NYSE Arca exchange on October 15, and trading is anticipated to start early the following month. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission recently approved the first Ethereum futures ETFs, which led to this action.
