CoinDesk researchers have shared the main events in the crypto protocol industry over the past 24 hours, as of the evening of December 8, 2023. They noted that several interesting developments have taken place in this area. One of them is the inclusion of validators and data providers Ankr, Figment, Retake, Luganodes and NorthStake in the Flare blockchain (FLR) as network oracles, which made Flare the first smart contract platform providing decentralized data flows from these institutional validators and expanding its information set to 91 nodes.

gIt was also noted that SKALE became the first blockchain to include an application chain infrastructure with zero gas fees for end users based on community voting. This SKALE Chain pricing offering provides network stability and additional revenue for validators through subscription transactions, which is considered an important step in the development of the ecosystem.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) has also announced plans to issue credentials and certificates for Avalanche C-Chain, which will ensure security and instant access to verification. This means that IEEE, as a leader in setting technical standards, uses blockchain for authentication, which is an important step in the development of the Web3 sector.

Finally, Blockaid, a provider of Web3 security tools, announced a new "Transaction Security" feature in the Rainbow wallet, which provides real-time protection against malicious sites and applications for millions of users.
