As per BNB Chain, DappBay, the Web3 dApp marketplace designed for secure exploration and utilization of dApps on the BNB Chain, has pinpointed more than 100 high-risk dApps in the current week. In a recent update on X (formerly known as Twitter), the blockchain network highlighted that DappBay's recent list of risky dApps includes Genesis Universe, Web3 Pilot, Quick Pay, Silo, and Crystal.

DappBay relies on a platform known as Red Alarm to uncover and highlight potential risks in the realm of dApps and smart contracts. Red Alarm is continually refreshed with information about dApps deemed suspicious or bearing exceptionally high risk levels.

Red Alarm presents data on risky dApps in a structured manner, featuring their names, categories, the factors driving the associated risks, the severity of those risks, and the date they were flagged on the platform.

One notable entry on DappBay's Red Alarm was Genesis Universe, a play-to-earn NFT card exploration game operating on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). It revolves around the concept of exploration and combat in a new virtual world.

BNB Chain also highlighted Web3 Pilot, which DappBay's Red Alarm labeled as a "High Risk" dApp. Red Alarm attributed the risk associated with Web3 Pilot to a Ponzi scam that falsely promised investors exceptionally high returns.

DappBay continues to compile details about other risky dApps, with its listing model involving daily updates to identify additional high-risk candidates within the BNB Chain ecosystem.
