Animoca Brands, a Hong Kong-based company specializing in Web3 digital property rights, has announced a partnership with Cross the Ages to support the launch of the new multiplayer RPG Arise. The game has been in development for over two years and is set for release in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Under the partnership, Animoca Brands has agreed to support the official launch of the game Arise. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game will serve as a flagship title in the Web3 gaming industry, promising immersive environments, detailed character design, and economic interactions.
Game Mechanics and Characters
Players will have a choice of multiple roles, including farmer, crafter, dungeon crawler, and fighter. PvE and PvP activities will be available, along with resource gathering and participation in a player-driven economy. The game will also feature base-building mechanics, allowing users to manage energy, upgrade generators, and harvest resources from their land. So far, four characters have been introduced: Malik, who possesses magical powers; Ellie, a skilled sorcerer; Takeshi, a trained fighter; and Samia, an Arcane Scholar.

In the press release announcing the partnership, Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, expressed confidence in the potential of Cross the Ages’ game development. He stated, "The team at Cross the Ages has been consistently and strongly committed to high-quality Web3 game development." At the same time, a joint venture with Standard Chartered Bank has been adopted to prepare for a stablecoin issuer license application in Hong Kong.
