- Fourth Member Integration
- Centralized vs. Decentralized Computing
- Coinbase Opts Out of ASI Migration
The ASI Alliance, formed by SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, and Ocean Protocol, has announced the potential inclusion of a new member, Cudos, a decentralized cloud computing provider.
Fourth Member Integration
According to the press release, the integration will be decided by a community vote scheduled for Sept. 19-24. If approved, the integration will feature a token merger between Cudos and FET.
Centralized vs. Decentralized Computing
Humayun Sheikh, chairman of the ASI Alliance and CEO of Fetch.ai, stated that decentralized computing is better than centralized computing. It offers greater scalability, resilience, and security.
Coinbase Opts Out of ASI Migration
Many cryptocurrency exchanges supported the automatic migration of Ocean Protocol tokens into FET, but Coinbase did not. On June 27, Coinbase stated that it would not facilitate the migration process.
The integration of Cudos into the ASI Alliance promises to enhance decentralized cloud computing capabilities and accelerate the adoption of decentralized AI solutions.
