Interchain Foundation supports Tharsis Labs in open-sourcing evmOS, enhancing compatibility between Ethereum and Cosmos networks.

Funding and Project Goals

The Interchain Foundation announced its support for Tharsis Labs in open-sourcing evmOS. This move aims to enhance interaction between Ethereum and Cosmos by offering users the functionality of Cosmos on the Ethereum platform.

Development and Integration of Cosmos EVM

Tharsis Labs will open-source the Ethereum-compatible software under the Apache 2.0 license. Cosmos EVM will be part of the Interchain Stack and developed by the Interchain Labs team.
