  3. Launch in Over 30 States

  4. NCR Atleos has recently announced a new Bitcoin cashout feature for enrolled LibertyX customers, allowing them to sell their Bitcoins for cash at ATMs across the United States.

    Introduction of the New Feature

The NCR Atleos Bitcoin service will be deployed at thousands of merchant locations, meaning that when the network is fully deployed, there will be a transaction point within five miles of more than 75% of Americans. Users will be able to stage transactions via the LibertyX app.

    Technology and Benefits

The feature uses a one-time-use code system that backs the Atleos ReadyCode API suite, offering a range of cash-in and cash-out solutions. ReadyCode, by design, allows program managers, financial institutions, and merchants to settle transactions without traditional cards or networks. NCR Atleos, the parent company of LibertyX since January 2022, is a leading provider of cryptocurrency software for ATMs, point-of-sale systems, and kiosks. App users can utilize a locator feature within the LibertyX mobile app to sell Bitcoin and immediately collect the cash at a ReadyCode-enabled Atleos ATM.

Adding an offramp for LibertyX users to convert digital assets to physical cash enhances the value proposition of LibertyX, grows foot traffic at participating merchants, and increases the productivity of our ATMs.Stuart Mackinnon, Atleos COO

    Launch in Over 30 States

The NCR Atleos Bitcoin service, initially through more than 30 states, is positioned for a huge expansion in financial access and self-service alternatives. ReadyCode-enabled ATMs allow consumers to easily turn cash into cryptocurrencies at point-of-sale locations securely, driving usage through ease of access and supporting Atleos's commitment to innovation in the financial industry.

The new Bitcoin cashout feature from NCR Atleos for LibertyX users significantly expands the use of cryptocurrency and provides convenient access to converting digital assets into cash.
