According to Lookonchain, World Liberty Financial spent $48 million USDC to buy 14,403 ETH at $3,333 per coin in the last 12 hours. The platform now holds 33,629 ETH worth almost $110 million.
Public Reaction to the Purchases
Ethereum advocate Anthony Sassano noted that Trump now holds around 18,700 ETH. Anthony comments, 'You're bearish on ETH while the US president continues to increase his stack.' Other experts have also highlighted Trump's buying spree.
Current Ethereum Market Situation
Despite the buying spree, ETH prices have fallen 5% over the past 12 hours. Ethereum remains lackluster amidst social media FUD and hasn't matched the performance of other cryptos.
