xCBT officially launches on the Abstract platform, aimed at expanding user capabilities.
xCBT Launch on Abstract Platform
The Web3 gaming platform xCBT announced its launch on Abstract, a consumer-focused Layer-2 network developed by Igloo. The platform has secured USD 1 million in seed investment owing to support from key figures in the gaming industry and its active gaming community. Abstract is an Ethereum Layer-2 blockchain designed for consumers, enhancing on-chain experiences through a user-friendly interface. After the recent mainnet launch, the project actively gathers feedback from a diverse base to apply in services like gaming and social platforms.
Community Growth Approach
Amid concerns about the excessive influence of renowned VCs on the crypto market, community-driven growth models are gaining attention. Closely working with the gaming industry and a global community, xCBT has established an independent revenue model. By launching on Abstract, xCBT aims to bolster its global pre-launch marketing and community-building capabilities. CEO Hong-Kyun Noh stated that the company is designing a reward system to prevent mass token dumping, ensuring genuine gamers and community members benefit.
xCBT's Role in Game Testing
xCBT was founded by original members of G.Round—a global game testing platform—and other Web3 experts, including CEO Hong-Kyun Noh. Utilizing the experience from sourcing over 530 games from 70 countries and conducting global tests for over 430,000 users from 190 countries, Noh aims to support successful game launches by implementing competitive beta tests for unreleased titles. During testing, gamers purchase tickets to participate, with high-ranking players receiving up to 500 times their ticket cost as rewards. The prize pool is funded by developers' fees, xCBT tokens, airdrop events, and more.
xCBT aims to develop a global gaming community by offering innovative solutions for game testing and promotion.
