Zenith Bank has announced the fourth edition of its flagship Startup Pitch Competition and Incubation Program, Zecathon 4.0, as part of the bank's tech fair.
About Zecathon 4.0 Program
The program aims to identify and accelerate the growth of high-potential Nigerian startups in key sectors such as Embedded Finance, Cybersecurity, Fintech, HealthTech, and more. It includes a startup pitch competition and a six-week incubation program, providing participants with mentorship, strategic partnerships, and resources.
Participation and Prizes
Early-stage Nigerian startups are invited to participate. The competition offers ₦77.5 million in cash prizes, mentorship, and investment opportunities. Winners will also join a six-week incubation program. Applications must be submitted by November 15, 2024, with finalists announced on November 18, 2024. The final pitch will take place on November 21, 2024.
Overview of Last Year's Competition
Last year's competition showcased remarkable talent. The first-place winner Sync received ₦20 million, Skil Up With Kahdsole (SUWK) secured second place with ₦15 million, and Tribapay claimed third place with ₦10 million. Other finalists received ₦2 million each and participated in the incubation program.
