Guild of Guardians has announced the deadline for the official migration to Immutable zkEVM, scheduled for March 4th. NFT owners need to connect their wallets to Immutable Passport by March 4th, 10:00 AEDT, to ensure a free migration process, while $GOG token holders will use the $GOG migration portal launching at the end of February.

After starting regional testing in Canada last month, Guild of Guardians developers announced they are officially moving to Immutable zkEVM on March 4th. This transition is crucial for NFT owners and $GOG token holders, as they need to complete the migration process by March 4th to use their assets and enjoy the benefits of the Polygon-based network.

Migrating GOG NFTs by the specified deadline will ensure a gas-free process, so if you don't complete the process by the given date, you can still migrate later but will have to pay for gas. As for $GOG holders, it's not specified what will happen if you don't migrate by the deadline, but you will still have to wait for the launch of the $GOG migration portal by the end of this month, with a detailed guide on its use to be published by the studio.

The team will migrate GOG NFTs (ERC-721) on March 4th at 11:00 AEDT, but the deadline for holders to complete their part of the process comes an hour earlier. This also means that for some holders, the deadline may fall on March 3rd depending on the time zone.

To participate successfully in the free migration, you need to connect your wallet with assets to Immutable Passport through your player profile. You should go to the Passport dashboard and add your MetaMask wallet in the External Wallets menu. That's all you need to do; once your wallet is connected, you'll be ready for asset migration without paying any fees. On the day of migration, the team will cancel all GOG NFT trades on Immutable X and freeze the order book. Developers plan to complete the migration by March 6th.
