Mines of Dalarnia Announce Significant Changes to Ape Quest

Mar 28, 2024

The game "Mines of Dalarnia" has announced significant changes to the "Ape Quest" quest, starting April 1st. Now the quest will be available in regular mines, allowing players to complete tasks at their own pace, without a limit on the number of attempts per day. This change makes the quest more accessible to the "Mines of Dalarnia" community and simplifies the completion process.

In the new version of the quest, to complete one task, players need to make 10 digs, with each dig requiring 25 fragments in the inventory. Digs can be done in any area, and if a player has multiple apes, they can complete up to 7 quests, which equals 70 digs.

Due to these changes, competitions are temporarily suspended while the team looks for ways to turn them into special events. Developers believe that in the current format, competitions "do not provide enough enjoyment to players." Rewards can still be obtained within 30 days after participating in the competition. With no new competitions, the team will be able to use the play-to-earn allocation "in more exciting ways."

The reward of 150 $DAR for an ape remains unchanged, as does the snapshot time and the limit of one quest per ape. Through "Ape Quests," 838,800 $DAR has already been distributed, with the remaining pool consisting of 961,200 $DAR tokens.

To participate in upcoming quests, owning an NFT Mining Ape is required before the snapshot, which occurs at the beginning of each month at 00:00 UTC.
