New version of liquidity aggregator protocol from 1inch Network

Nov 17, 2022

1inch Network, a DeFi project, has launched version 5 of the liquidity aggregator protocol together with DEX. ForkLog employees stated that 1inch Router v5 will save approximately 10% of gas during the exchange of tokens. At the same time, exchange operations in 1inch Router v4 cost about 5% less.

In the 5th version, it was possible to implement the Limit Order Protocol v3. The creators reported that its share increased from 0 to 40% in about a year.

In this version, a new interaction logic has been applied. The developers also added pre- and post-interactions to 1inch Router v5.

They also implemented an improved error handling system in smart contracts. All user errors have been added there. Thus, clients see explanations because of what, this or that action ended in failure.

The audit of the fifth version of 1inch Router was conducted by Consensys, OpenZeppelin and ABDK Consulting. This project uses a bounty program.

Last fall, the fourth version of the liquidity aggregator protocol was introduced by the 1Inch Network and DEX team.

Earlier, an announcement of the integration of the project with Aurora and an announcement of cooperation with the KuCoin wallet and Wirex were there.

The developers announced their decision to distribute 300,000 OR tokens among their users this fall.
