The developers of the NFT trading platform Magic Eden have implemented a multi-chain wallet that supports the Solana, Bitcoin, Polygon, and Ethereum blockchains. The announcement of the beta version of their own wallet was made by the platform's creators in November 2023 and is available only to a limited group of testers.
This wallet was developed with active participation from experts at Exodus and is designed to provide users with full control over their crypto assets. Its interface is created to offer convenient features for instant cross-chain exchanges, NFT portfolio management, and trading of non-fungible tokens directly from the Magic Eden Wallet.
The Magic Eden team emphasized the importance of such a wallet, considering it an integral part of their achievements in the field of NFTs and Ordinals. In their Twitter message, they state that this wallet has become an indispensable tool that provides users with convenient NFT management on major blockchain networks.
Initially, Magic Eden was focused on serving the Solana NFT community. However, in November 2022, the creators decided to expand their coverage and added support for the Polygon network. In March 2023, Bitcoin and Ethereum also joined their platform. At the beginning of its journey, Magic Eden was the leader in trading volume in the Solana NFT sector, but by the end of 2023, this position was overtaken by the Tensor platform.
According to data from The Block's information panel, Magic Eden currently holds the second position in daily trading volume for Bitcoin Ordinals. Additionally, it also supports tokens of the BRC-20 standard.
