On 10/06/2022, Binance announced that it received a license to operate a virtual asset platform and provide custodial services, based on the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC) in Kazakhstan.

The document, which has been issued by AIFC members, gives the site the opportunity to provide exchange and conversion services, deposit and withdrawal of money, store digital assets and exchange trading.

Both individuals and legal entities from various countries can register on the cryptocurrency exchange.

In the future, the exchange will try to expand the range of its services.

Previously, ForkLog magazine stated that Binance signed an MOU with the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This document contains instructions for the interaction of the parties for the safe development of the digital asset market in the country.

August brought the bitcoin exchange a fundamental agreement to obtain the status of a virtual asset platform operator and custodial service provider in the AIFC.
