Charles Hoskinson, co-founder of Ethereum, expressed his opinion, regarding the Ripple cryptocurrency platform. He noted that the problem of the exchange, which was sued by the SEC, is not corruption within the regulator, but the lack of regulation of the industry. After his statement, a number of criticisms from XRP hit Hoskinson.
Charles recorded a video in which he explained the whole situation and said that he was "a huge surprise with a huge wave of criticism" from the audience.
In his opinion, the attacks in his direction are unfair, because he supported the development of the Ripple project and noted the actions of the SEC commission. Also, he claims that his words were misinterpreted after the interview was released.
Hoskinson emphasized the importance of unification in crypto space. Otherwise, the authorities will impose restrictions on the industry and set strict limits.
