Ericsson, a telecommunications and software company, has studied the impact of modern technologies on the operation of Metaverse and augmented reality.

The study lasted 3 years and during its implementation, about 50 thousand users from different countries were interviewed. Thus, we managed to find out that people, using 5G standards, are more interested in augmented realities than those who use 4G.

The first category spends 1 extra hour per week, exploring the Metaverse platforms. Experts believe that 5G is becoming an important tool for quality work. After all, the number of users who have joined Metaverse has increased several times in recent years.

Most of the participants surveyed believe that 5G will help the metaverses to unlock their full potential. Also, there are benefits for telephone operators if they pay attention to augmented reality applications and 5G rollout.
