FROYO is the ecosystem's utility token, originally issued as a BEP-20 asset on BNB Smart Chain with a supply of 1 billion tokens. Its functions included gaming transactions, rewards, staking, use within Froyo Store, and participation in different platform products. FROYO was also used in Gamebox's Play-to-Win mechanics.

Under the original tokenomics, 66.87% of the supply was allocated to the Ecosystem Fund, 10% to the team, 8.36% to the strategic sale, 6.67% to the PancakeSwap IFO, 5% to strategic partners, 3% to seed investors, and 0.1% to marketing. Holders could previously lock FROYO to receive veFROYO for governance participation, but in January 2024 the team announced the discontinuation of this system as part of measures intended to reduce token inflation.

The project's main risks are linked to ecosystem activity and demand for its products. A utility token derives practical value from active users and real use cases. Other factors include FROYO liquidity, smart contract vulnerabilities, dependence on external blockchain infrastructure, and strong competition within the Web3 gaming sector.

User retention and regular content releases are particularly important for casual gaming. Short gameplay cycles can make it easier to attract users, but they also make switching to competing products relatively easy. NFTs and token rewards may increase engagement, but they cannot replace the underlying quality of the gameplay.
