One of the largest transnational software companies, Microsoft, has partnered with South Korean game developer Wemade.

The Wemade team noted that they managed to raise about $46 million from Microsoft, Shinhan Asset Management and Kiwoom Securities through the sale of convertible bonds.

The director of the gaming platform considers this contribution from proven and large investors to be very important for the further development of the project on the blockchain.

Wemade's main job - to incorporate blockchain technology into its products and transform classic games now. For example, Wemix3.0 was recently launched on the mainnet, a stablecoin and DeFi platform.

In the future, it is planned to launch the NILE economic platform, which supports NFTs and DAOs.

The blockchain games industry is attracting more and more projects. In October, Avalanche software developer Ava Labs has announced the launch of a Web-3 game next year with BLDR.

The Japanese studio Konami, known for a number of video games, is starting work on the launch of a Web3 product that will help NFT trading.

The developer of computer games Square Enix announced the release of tokens with the aim to blockchain business.

Earlier it became known that the virtual world of Gucci opened on The Sandbox.
