The Binance team has published an analytical report, which shows that the ecosystem maintains its leading marks in the GameFi section.

As of the third quarter of 2022, 36.6% of gaming projects are based on the BNB Chain blockchain. This number could have been higher, but the bear market had a negative impact on activity in this segment.

The second place was taken by the Ethereum blockchain. 20% of the games are represented there. On the third line - Polygon and 11.8% of applications. Thus, these three major blockchains control the GameFi industry. Solana has slightly less gaming products, about 7%.

The GameFi industry is just gaining momentum, so many projects are still in the development and testing phase. The browser games are the most sought-after in this sector - more than 1000. The most popular genres are action, adventure and collecting.

In October, in terms of the number of users, the Gameta platform became the leader. Almost 2 million people have registered there. In terms of market capitalization, the top looks like this: Otherside, The Sandbox and Decentraland.
