Veda is an infrastructure layer for creating and managing decentralized financial products. The project aims to eliminate DeFi fragmentation by offering a modular architecture for secure, scalable, and standardized interaction with yield strategies. Based on the "BoringVault" concept, the platform enables flexible strategy deployment, asset management, and risk-free liquidity routing. Among its partners are wallets, exchanges, and DeFi protocols, with total value locked exceeding $3 billion.

Veda – infrastructure layer for building and managing DeFi products

Veda’s Mission and Purpose

Veda addresses one of DeFi’s core challenges — the complexity of accessing yield strategies. The project enables developers, institutional investors, wallets, and protocols to launch custom vault products without needing to build complex smart contracts. The main component of the platform is the BoringVault, which serves as the base unit for asset management, strategy delegation, and yield tracking.

Strategy execution is separated from storage — the logic is processed via off-chain modules and verified through Merkle documents. This approach ensures high security, modularity, and adaptability to any blockchain (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Solana, etc.). Veda provides a unified API for integrating yield products into exchanges, wallets, and web interfaces, simplifying custom solutions for various asset classes.

Platform Architecture and Modules

Veda is built on a modular architecture that separates strategy logic from asset storage. This enhances security, simplifies audits, and allows for flexible scaling across blockchains and assets. Each component serves a clearly defined function, reducing single points of failure and making it easier to update system parts safely.

Component Function
BoringVault Simple asset storage unit without embedded business logic
Manager Controls strategy execution via Merkle signatures
Teller Handles issuance and redemption of vault share tokens
Accountant Responsible for off-chain NAV and yield calculations
Atomic Queue Batches user transactions within a strategy for efficiency
Decoder Parses and filters calldata before execution

Each component is functionally isolated, minimizing vulnerabilities. By processing critical logic (like strategy analysis) off-chain, Veda maintains low gas costs and strong scalability. All interactions with strategies are strictly controlled to prevent unauthorized operations.

Advantages and Problems Solved by Veda

Veda is not just a tool for capital management — it's a full-fledged standard for building on-chain yield strategies. Its architecture reflects the real needs of developers, institutional players, and fintech firms that require fast DeFi integration without compromising on security. Thanks to its modular design and transparent logic, Veda is a universal solution for working with liquidity.

Key problems solved by Veda:

  • Standardized vault structure;

  • Simplified interaction with multichain assets and protocols;

  • Strict strategy execution control via Merkle verification;

  • Reduced cost of development and maintenance of custom solutions;

  • Integration via clear API into wallets, exchanges, and applications.

This makes Veda suitable for all market participants — from decentralized apps to centralized exchanges — aiming to deploy on-chain yield solutions without custodial risk.

Key Partners and Use Cases

Veda is actively used across the Web3 ecosystem due to its flexibility and ease of integration. The platform has already become the foundation for many products built by both centralized players and decentralized protocols.

Some of the most notable integrations include:

  • Binance Web3 Wallet — integrated yield strategies via Binance’s interface;

  • Bybit Web3 — custom vault pools for wallet users;

  • ether.fi — vault logic applied within the eBTC structure;

  • Lombard, Rings, TAC — institutional vault deployment and income routing;

  • cmETH — ETH-based product on Mantle powered by Veda infrastructure.

Veda is also the backbone for products focused on stablecoin and BTC yield, critical for users seeking reliable passive income sources. Thanks to its high flexibility, the protocol is easily integrated into custom Web3 solutions, including DeFi protocols, exchanges, P2P services, and DAOs.

Funding and Future Plans

In June 2025, Veda announced the closing of a Series A round of $18 million. The round was led by CoinFund, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Animoca Brands, GSR, and others. The funds will be used to expand the ecosystem: launch new strategies, support additional blockchains, and integrate with global Web3 and Web2 platforms.

The team is also working on yield strategies for volatile assets like ETH and LSD protocols and plans to expand its market presence. Focus areas include enterprise-grade tools and making on-chain financial products accessible to fintech companies, exchanges, and institutional clients.
