The Decentraland team announced the launch of the second music festival within the Metaverse. Due to the long coronavirus pandemic, many artists were left without the opportunity to please their fans with concerts. Therefore, some famous personalities began to turn to virtual worlds.

The Decentraland festival will last 4 days, from 10 to 13 November 2022. The organizers have invited more than 100 artists. This event is free and does not require a cryptocurrency wallet to access.

The concert will take place in a cyberpunk atmosphere. DJ Dillon Francis will open the festival. American rapper Soulja Boy will perform by using his new virtual avatar.

The organizers of the project note that this concert will be large-scale and amazing. All participants will receive a lot of emotions and cultural experience. In order to fully immerse viewers in digital reality, the team creates weather conditions and adds other features of the festivals.

A real gift for fans will be the performance of Ozzy Osbourne. This is not the first time the rock singer has appeared at such events.

Other announced stars include Chinese girl idol group SNH48 and Japanese J-pop Atarashii Gakko.

Last year, the Decentraland festival was attended by over 50,000 people.
