CelerNetwork introduces a best-in-class token bridging experience with high liquidity for users, highly efficient and easy-to-use liquidity management for both cBridge node operators and liquidity providers who do not want to manage cBridge nodes, and exciting new features, focused on developers, such as general messaging for cases such as cross-chain DEXs and NFTs.
All of the above is made possible by extending the existing features and services, provided by the Celer State Guardian Network (SGN), which operates on the basis of validators and stakers in a value capture system.
Main advantages:
Deep liquidity | supports much larger transfer sizes. |
Easier to use | offer the ability to reduce two-step operations to a single click. |
Service level of the insured bridge node | reduce cBridge node bonds to cover opportunity costs. |
The Celer State Guardian Network (SGN) was an important part of the Celer Network architecture. In a layer 2 scaling architecture, Celer SGN is a dedicated Proof-of-Stake (PoS) chain. It serves the purpose of monitoring L1 transactions, associated with the L2 state, and reliably relaying layer 2 information back to layer 1 when needed.
In the Celer State Channel, SGN helps to maintain channel states and respond to malicious calculations at the L1 layer when needed. Celer layer2.finance SGN expands as a decentralized network of block producers to feed call data and root states back to the L1 blockchain and provide fraud protection from any SGN node, even if the entire PoS consensus fails.
CELR holders can stake their tokens in SGN by becoming a validator or by delegation and actively provide the aforementioned services. SGN members earn staking rewards as well as commissions in exchange for the services they help to provide.
