About the work of the #dev DeFi project
In the markets, users can borrow and lend assets at interest in different vaults. Genesis vaults - vaults, where assets are not stored on any other platforms or smart contracts. The main reason - assets, hosted on other platforms, are subject to risks and changes from other platforms. The downside of the Genesis storage is probably low APY. However, Genesis offers low transaction fees and capital safety.
Some features:
| 1 | To borrow funds, users need to deposit / lend their #dev DeFi assets. |
| 2 | After the deposit, users can activate the asset as collateral. Collateral helps to protect the principal of the creditor in the event of liquidation. |
| 3 | With #dev DeFi collateral, users can borrow assets at the interest rate on the loans. |
By default, #dev DeFi helps users to borrow their desired assets at the lowest interest rates. This means that assets will come from vaults that have the lowest annual interest rate on the loan and, therefore, the lowest interest rate on the loan.
For Genesis vaults, the assets will remain in the smart contract until someone borrows the assets. For other vaults, vaults will put your assets into other DeFi protocols on the BSC to maximize your APY.
