Ellipsis Finance officially launched in March 2021 and is an authorized fork of Curve Finance, so those who are familiar with Curve Finance will understand the functionality of Ellipsis Finance.
The protocol will initially support exchange pairs for BUSD, USDC and USDT. Additional pairs may be considered in the near future. Why do users choose it:
Liquidity providers receive compensation per share for 3 months. Rewards can be claimed before the end of the vesting period, but will incur a 50% early termination penalty. The EPS benefit from the early termination penalty is allocated to the locked rate pool. The most loyal EPS holders will benefit most at the end of the three month vesting period.
Blocking the Bet Pool receives trading commissions as well as earnings per share penalties from people who exit the reward pool early. There is no mandatory blocking in the bet pool. This project - an automated market maker (AMM) that allows users to exchange between different stablecoins with very low slippage. When you deposit stablecoins with Ellipsis, you become a “liquidity provider” (LP) and receive “LP tokens”, which represent your partial ownership of stablecoins under the protocol. The value of LP tokens rises over time as the protocol collects trading fees, shared among liquidity providers.
