About the Ketchup.Finance project

With Yield Farming on Ketchup.Finance, Yield farmers put their cryptocurrencies to work and earn high interest rates. According to DeFiPulse, a DeFi analytics and ranking platform, DeFi protocols contain over $50 billion worth of cryptocurrencies, locked in these programs. Ketchup.Finance is pretty easy to use. Before you can start making money with your cryptocurrencies, you need to get a wallet like MetaMask or Trust Wallet.

The most common way to acquire some cryptocurrency - to register an account on an exchange such as Binance or Coinbase. You will also need to purchase BNB to pay BSC transaction fees. Once you have some crypto in your exchange account, send it to your wallet and go to Ketchup.Finance, click Connect Wallet and enter your wallet password, find the pool or farm you want to deposit.

Emission level:

0,5 Ketchup/block (ketchup factor will decrease over time).
10% Emission rewards are minted to the address of the developers to ensure the growth and development of the project.

BEP-20 Token - Binance Smart ChainBEP-20 - the token standard on the smart chain of the Binance platform. This token determines who can use them, as well as other related details. BEP-20 is compatible with both BEP-2 and ERC-20 as they have a lot in common. These tokens can represent the shares of the company, as well as the amount, held in a bank account, and something like that. The transfer of these tokens is facilitated by BNB. Transactions, made and included by validators in the BSC, are incentivized by BNB.

Safety of using defi app

Timelock — a piece of code in a smart contract that can block the functionality of an application for a certain amount of time. Timelocks are often used to support contracts with master chefs. They are important because they provide a high degree of protection against "carpet" tension.

Without a timelock, if the developers of a fraudulent project want to change some parameters in the masterchef, they can do it directly.Ketchup.Finance

Depending on how the time block is set (for example 24 hours), it takes 24 hours before a contract change, made by the developer, is executed via an execute transaction. This protects investors from being deceived. To keep Ketchup.Finance safe, a Timelock contract has been added as the owner of MasterChef. Any changes to MasterChef must go through a 24 hour timeout for security reasons.
