Synthetic Assets (Synths) are backed by Oikos Network Tokens (OKS), enclosed in a smart contract as collateral. The system supports all types of assets, including stocks, traded on the market (Apple, Amazon, Google, etc.), as well as more complex products such as indices (NYSE, NIKKEI), futures, options and CFDs.
Such a system provides many benefits to users. It creates a marketplace for cryptocurrency and stable price assets that can be traded without liquidity constraints and slippage. When exchanging synthesizers in the system (for example, sUSD to sBTC), a small commission is charged, which is distributed among the issuers of synthesizers (OKS participants). This reward stimulates the release of synthesizers and the maintenance of a healthy margin rate, creating positive feedback that will drive adoption and growth.
