Backed by Nozama, Plastiks is a marketplace, designed to revolutionize two multi-billion dollar industries: recycling and NFT. This is where recyclers, artists and single-use packaging come together to make the world a cleaner place. The Plastik token unlocks features on the platform, which introduces a new utility for NFTs: Proof of Plastic Recovery.

Description of the Plastiks site
Recyclers and artists can mint and sell NFTs on the market, relying on the fee data as "recovery guarantees" for single-use packaging (SUP) companies that want to demonstrate their commitment to the environment. Plastiks improves SUP traceability, creating an additional revenue stream for processors. In addition, by purchasing SUP recovery guarantees in the market, corporations will be able to comply with the newly introduced SUP traceability rules in the EU.
Plastiks is:
| 1. | Bridge between plastic producers and plastic processors. It allows manufacturers to contribute to the recycling and recovery of the waste they generate. |
| 2. | A digital marketplace where artists can mint NFTs, backed by recycled material. |
| 3. | A way for investors to enjoy the art they love in an environmentally friendly way. |
A buyer who wants to purchase a single-use packaging (SUP) recovery and recycling guarantee must have enough Plastik tokens in their wallet to be able to buy this SUP. The PLASTIK token can be bought on BitMart and LBank.
These NFTs are available and visible on your marketplace sustainability profile, so you can avoid the hassle of reporting unverified claims about your ESG practices.
Collaboration with Urbaser
Plastiks and Urbaser have signed an agreement to implement a pilot project, aimed at guaranteed recycling of single-use plastics. Through this agreement, producers and processors of single-use plastics will be able to combine the production of this material, its marketing and subsequent recycling process to ensure that plastic production is ultimately environmentally friendly.
Plastiks and Urbaser share a common vision for moving towards a circular economy. Urbaser has already created their first recycling certificate and they will be creating their first NFTs, linked to both art data and recycling data in the coming days.
