A brief introduction to the SD game
The traditional game of solitaire has been gaining popularity over the years. The rules of the Solitaire Duel game are the same, but there are still differences from the standard versions of solitaire. By adding blockchain and multiplayer mechanics, the game is completely new, making it even more addictive than before.
The score is determined by collecting or losing points as follows:
- each card, folded on top of another and revealing a new card, brings +20 points;
- a card, sent to the build deck, is worth +50 points;
- the time of each game - 5 minutes;
- if you flip through all cards in the deck without using any, your score will decrease by 20 points.
The goal of the solitaire game - to collect 4 stacks of cards on the playing field. They must be sorted by suit type (hearts, diamonds, spades, crosses) and in ascending order, starting with aces as the base. To achieve this goal, you can take cards from the stacks of cards and decks and spread them out. The cards are assembled on the playing field in descending order, and the colors of the folded cards must alternate. The site has a minimum of information about solitaire, as well as a section with answers to questions. The developers do not provide White Paper and Roadmap. You can ask your question through the community email. There is no referral system, free giveaways and other bonuse.
Difference of Solitaire Duel from other projects
In classic solitaire, it often happens that the result of the game becomes insoluble. This is because the initial map setup is random. Your victory depends on the probability. The Solitaire Duel project follows a different approach. In Solitaire Duel, you can win the game even if the card is not solvable.
To play SD, each player must pay an entry fee per round. Winning a match results in prize money. Tracking the results of matches, as well as the transfer of fees and prize money is carried out and provided by using smart contracts.
There are several scoring principles you should consider when competing:
| 1 | Play fast and don't underestimate the time. The sooner you realize that the game is over, the higher the chances that you will score more points than a competitor. |
| 2 | Even the -20 points you get for flipping through the deck can make a difference in fights. |
| 3 | When you think the game is over and no cards can be moved anymore, make sure that nothing really can be put on your builds. |
| 4 | There is an undo button to undo the last move made. If there are two options to choose from, and one of them does not make any progress, click "Cancel" and try another option. |
There are five different levels of play with different buy-ins and prizes. Experienced players are more confident in their abilities, therefore, they are more inclined to take risks. With win rates above 50%, you can also earn commission for higher levels by earning prize money at lower levels.
