Description of the Axie Infinity game
Axies are looking like your pets in a real life. Despite belonging to the same species, each creature has its own special look and attributes.
The Axie Infinity field is divided into squares of 5 main colors:
- Pink - the public resource nodes and places, where Chimera appears.
- White - a road. They speed up travel by 300%. Roads that go over water are represented as bridges.
- Blue - a river.
- Green - a forest.
- Yellow - a savannah.
Lunacia is under attack by the Chimera. You and Axies have to help the princess to fight dangerous creatures. At the same time, it’s necessary to rebuild and strengthen the Kingdom. The world of Lunacia is presented as a 301x301 grid, where each square is a tokenized piece of land.
In addition to the standard game process, developers periodically hold tournaments, where participants can win good rewards. One of these competitions was held on January 17, 2020. Within its framework, 2100 DAIs and 10,000 LUNA for the amount of about $3,100 were played out. Please, note that there is no referral system here. Types of Axies
Each type of Axie has its advantages and disadvantages over other classes. The game has the next characters:
| Beast | These free and wild Axes are truly brave warriors. With a great accuracy and powerful attack power, they are created to survive in the desert. If they are stymied, they can explode with unexpected force. Their roar sound like a thunder. |
| Aquatic | They manipulate the power of water to control the battle. They are fast, powerful and hard to hurt. However, they are completely inaccurate because of a poor vision. |
| Plant | Born in the forest, Plant Axies have a strong protection and an ability to a mythical recovery. |
| Bird | These creatures have unlimited potential. Their attacks are powerful and fast, like the wind. However, they are vulnerable to direct attack due to the armor lack. |
| Reptile | This is an ancient class that has dinosaur genes, which allows them to live in high temperatures. Their comprehensive development and hidden attacks make the characters one of the most deadly fighters. |
You can enter into alliances with other players, combine lands and rare resources in the game. Also, artifacts are created here - items of limited release. They can turn a team of adventurers into the powerful warlords.
Land in the Axie Infinity
Axie live in their own artificial environment, called the Terrarium. This is a territory with different landscapes: grassland, sea shore, highland or arctic. Each locality will power up certain types of Axies. You can also decorate your Terrarium with special items.
You can buy or lease the land plots. Furthermore, you can also upgrade them to build stores, call Chimera, extract resources and much more.
How to start a game in a blockchain application?
First of all, you need to register on the Axie Infinity portal. To do this, you will need a mail address (you can do without it by logging in through a wallet immediately) and a browser wallet with Ethereum support (Metamask). Next, you should go to the registration page, enter the email and create a password. After filling in the fields - confirm the mail. Enter the verified profile by clicking on the “SIGN IN” button.
After going to the profile, you need to connect your Ethereum address to your account. To start playing, you need to purchase or ask friends for at least 3 Axies (this amount is required for the battle).
Battles on the dapp platform
Axies fight each other in 3 rounds. Before each battle, players place their Axies on the 3x3 battlefield, taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of each character. Understanding your pets and placing them in optimal positions - a key factor in team success.
In battle, creatures attack in a given order. This order can be set by the player before the start of the match. It’s mandatory, as certain movements are best used in different parts of the battle. Use a wise strategy and your Axie team won’t be stopped.
