What is Blocksheep?

BlockSheep — a social game on the Ethereum blockchain that includes psychology, game theory and tech savvy. You need to outsmart other players and choose an answer that others would not choose.

Description of the Block Sheep project

You get different questions with 2 or more answers in the game. For instance:

  • "Will Donald Trump be re-elected?" - (Yes, no).
  • "Who will win the 2018 World Cup?" - (Germany, Brazil, Italy, Other).

You can freely choose the option you want, like all other players, participating in it, without knowing the voices of others. When you do this, you are sending ETH. At the end of the specified period, the poll is closed and votes are no longer allowed. The game reveals the results. For example: 40% of people said that Trump would be re-elected and 60% of people said he wouldn't. And the minority always wins. So you have to be smarter than most and place your answer where fewer people will.

Every time you win, you double your coins (if there were only 2 options). If there were 4, the winnings are multiplied by 4X and so on.Blocksheep

With Black Sheep, you win ETH for guessing the answer. Check how good you are at predicting the behavior of others.

How is dapp organized?

The game runs on the Ethereum network. The smart contract contains all questions and answer options with the number of coins that you need to vote for this question. The questions are available for the player, who can decide to vote or skip the question.

Other features:

1 The smart contract is used to collect coins and encrypted user votes - they are transmitted without disclosure to other players.
2 When the pitching phase is over, each player has a limited time to record their answer, this time in an open format. The browser remembers the user's game keys to facilitate the second round or allows the user to use previously saved keys on their computer.
3 The virtual machine counts the votes and distributes the accumulated coins to the minority (black sheep), guaranteeing fairness and transparency to all players who can check the number of votes, received by each option.

The BlockSheep provides complete safety. There are no logins here, the developers never control your private keys. Plus, there is no way to manipulate the results. The site lacks White Paper and RoadMap, but there is a brief description of the project. Also, you can read the terms of use on the main page. The smart contract doesn’t have an audit. From social networks, the community has only twitter. Subscribe to stay up to date with all news.
