What do you need to start trading in dapp?

In order to start using the Crypto-Cards service, the user needs several components:

  • Browser with a Web 3.0;
  • Crypto wallet;
  • Ethereum (ETH).

Firstly, the user needs to install the Browser Web 3.0. You can use both a desktop computer and a mobile phone for these purposes.

Web 3.0 for desktops Chrome and Firefox require an extension to support Web 3.0, namely MetaMask. Brave supports Web 3.0 automatically.
Mobile Web 3.0 for mobiles Coinbase Wallet, Trust, Opera and Cipher. As integration with Arkane wallets is completed, you can also connect from any mobile web browser.

The team is also working on integration with Arkane wallets to support Web 3.0 in any browser. To interact with cryptocards, you will need an Ethereum Wallet, which connects to Web 3.0. MetaMask - an extension that adds the Ethereum wallets to Chrome and Firefox. The Brave browser is already bundled with a built-in wallet. And mobile browsers like Coinbase Wallet, Trust, Opera and Cipher also come with a built-in wallet.

Cryptocards are built on the Ethereum network and, therefore, the Ether (ETH) is required to interact with the system. Ether - the cryptocurrency, that powers the Ethereum blockchain. You will need to buy Ether, using your local currency (USD, CAD, GBP) in order to conduct transactions on the Ethereum network. Some wallets support direct purchases of Ether, while others do not. You may need to buy Ether on the exchange and transfer it to your chosen wallet. There are many resources on the Internet that will help you to acquire and transfer Ether.

How to buy crypto cards on a blockchain resource?

You can buy Cryptocards in packs of 8 cards on the official website. Or buy them from other people, who decide to sell their purchased decks. You can buy individual Cryptocards from other people on the Market Place or receive cards as a gift. Moreover, you can sell your cards on the website. After going to your collection, finding the card you want to sell, set the selling price on it. You can set any price you want. At the same time, don’t forget to stay competitive if you want to sell your card!

Since your decks and cards are ERC721 tokens, they can be sold and exchanged in various ways, as well as on numerous websites. Your Crypto-Card tokens are 100% owned by you! In addition, users can exchange their cards. The trade advantage - the absence of trading fees through the Crypto-Cards website. However, since Crypto-Cards is built on Ethereum, the Ethereum network charges the “gas” fee to process your transactions. The charge for "gas" is used to power the network.

How to get real Crypto-Cards?

Conversion to real cards can be performed only after achieving the next goals:

  • collect a complete set of 256 cards of any generation (even mixed);
  • all cards are stored in one wallet, connected to your Crypto-Cards account;
  • collect enough amount of Crypto-Cards GUM tokens to pay the “gas” fee of your cards.

GUM can be found in every purchase of a new deck on the Crypto-Cards website. Buying existing decks from other people won’t bring you GUM. By converting your cards, you will forever freeze the digital version of the card on the blockchain. You can still view the card, but you can no longer trade or sell a digital token. Cards will exist only in physical form to trade or sell in the traditional way! Printed cards can be traced back to the original ERC-721 token on the blockchain. This will allow you to prove ownership of your printed cards.
