About the Eartheum Climat DAO project
As the Earth is now in an emergency, carbon dioxide emissions have reached their highest point in history. Time goes by, every effort started from this moment will make a difference, it is time to act and appreciate those who carry out them.
The platform provides irrefutable proof of CO2 reduction: CO2e tokens. Eartheum lists some ERC721 tokens from which you can claim CO2e tokens. They fall into two categories:
- green certificates: proof of the use of renewable energy sources;
- white certificates: proof of reduced consumption.
Emulation without borders is only possible if game rules are unconditionally transparent. Changes in the value of CO2e credits are accepted electronically without intermediaries by a vote of the DAO. It is an open source type of organization, designed for automation and decentralization.
Other features:
| Firstly | Since it is technically impossible to erase the data, stored on the blockchain, every CO2e token will be unchanged and will remain here forever. |
| Secondly | Any worldwide organization can submit their ERC721 token to the Climat DAO. |
If the number of certificates is specified in the parameter, then the function must be implemented in the smart contract. Once the token is accepted by Eartheum, holders can claim their CO2e tokens in the dApp.
