Description of the EightBit Me project
EightBit Me — a collection of 8,888 NFT images. In addition to beautiful Bits, some Bits contain free IRL perks. The team is working to customize, interact and have more fun with your Bit. EightBit Me was launched in 2010 when Addison made some 8-bit avatars of his Digg colleagues. Courtney suggested creating a web generator so that anyone can create their own avatars, and enlisted Amadeus to help to create it. A few years later, the generator and the EightBit Me application were put on pause. 12 years have passed and the team is back in the same spirit with new ideas.
Bonuses unlock free IRL rewards that can be used by Bits owners who have the Perk Trait. Not all Bits have the Perk Trait, but all characters will be able to participate in upcoming adventures the team is working on. While Perk traits are fun, they're not the only reason to use the EightBit character. Bonuses are only a small part of the joint path.
The future of EightBit Me includes more settings for your Bit and more ways to interact with it:

Holding contests
Community involvement is very important to the EightBit team. The developers often run contests and gather a lot of feedback to help to discover the future of EightBit together. Past contests have included a meme contest and a product design contest. Expect new ideas in the future. Prizes for each competition are determined by the team.
