About ETH project ENS Nifty
ENS Nifty — a new and free service on the blockchain. Just as Wrapped Ether (W-ETH) provides Ether with all benefits of an ERC-20 token, ENS Nifty provides ENS domain names with all benefits of ERC-721 Non-Fungible tokens.
This is how it works:
| 1 | Go to ENSNifty.com and unblock the wallet. Transfer your domain document to a contract and redeem it as an NFT. |
| 2 | List it on markets like OpenSea and RealBits or use it as collateral for a loan from Dharma protocol. |
| 3 | When the domain is ready to use the ENS resolver, go back to ENSNifty.com. |
The contract is fully ERC-721 compliant and has received a code review from Dean Eigenman of ENS and zklabs. ENS auctions are designed with a built-in security mechanism: a disguised bid. This allows you to hide your real bet by sending a much larger amount. After the auction, you can withdraw the difference. This is only really useful if you are using a method that forces you to place your initial bid. This method also requires that you actually have some large amount of ETH in reserve that can be used to bluff you.
How to buy ENS name on OpenSea?
To buy an ENS name, start by browsing open ads or use the search bar to find the name you are looking for. To find a particularly good deal, it is recommended that you sort by the lowest price. Once you've found the name that interests you, click on it. If it is on sale you can purchase it in one transaction by clicking the Buy Now button. Even if the name is not for sale, you can still make an offer by clicking the Make Offer button.
If they don't have an email associated with OpenSea, they will see the offer in their notifications when they visit OpenSea. This can be a great way to buy names that have already been submitted..
