Ethereum Push Notification Service (EPNS) — the missing piece of Web3. EPNS is a DeFi decentralized protocol for sending notifications. It allows any users to send notifications on Ethereum, which is platform agnostic (i.e. you get it on mobile, Chrome, or even wallets).

About Ethereum Push Notification Service
Ethereum Push Notification Service — Ethereum Push Notification Service — a way to send notifications to users of various dApps via Web, Mobile (push notifications) or Web3 Providers. EPNS app owners, called channel owners, can send bulk unencrypted notifications or encrypted targeted messages to specific users in their App Group called Channels.
The EPNS mobile app provides the following features:
- push notifications;
- safe connection of the user's wallet;
- the ability to send information to the epns server in a safe format;
- the ability to receive user notifications (e.g. emails).
To ensure consistent messages throughout the project, developers have created a nomenclature of terms, roles. This includes: contract owner, app owner, users, channels. Mobile push notifications use device tokens to register a device and then the push notification server sends bulk or specific messages, using those device tokens.
