Players interact with each other through trading, chatting or participating in guilds, mini-games and other activities, some of which are competitive or combat in nature, while others require cooperative play. The game has over 100 dungeons and temples, 400 quests and 75 side missions. The Ethopia Online (EO CHEST) NFT (or non-fungible token) is a unique digital certificate that, once opened, identifies the player's digital property (house) and his Ethiopian passport.
Each Ethopia NFT is stored as an ERC-721 token, held and transferred on the Ethereum blockchain. All images are served from IPFS. Players can fight non-playable character (NPC) enemies, complete quests or increase their experience in available skills. Once you have 10 houses in Ethiopia, you can build a guild building for free. Each guild gets one of the small islands, surrounding the mainland. Guilds will be of great benefit to both the owner and the players who join them.

With P2E, PvP and other activities in Ethopia Online, playable guilds offer the best chances to earn more money while playing. Ethopia Online can only have 333 guilds, some blockchain gamer guilds will own additional in-game guilds to provide needed ship slots.
Ethopia Guilds will have the following main features:
| Custom Discord channel | Each guild will have the opportunity to create their own Discord Channel on the official Emoticoons server. The channel will be blocked, and only Ethiopians of this guild will be able to access it. |
| Internal voting system | Everyone in the guild can initiate a vote. |
| Treasure Bank sharing | Each guild member will contribute 2% of their profits to the general guild treasure bank. At the end of each week, guild members go to collect their share from the guild treasure bank. |
There are many quests that you can only participate in if you are in a guild. Quests must be completed with multiple players to receive valuable rewards. All members of a particular guild will have an in-game icon, showing which guild you represent.
