FinNexus project description
Fin Nexus — a new open financial protocol, running on the Ethereum and Wanchain blockchain. The first iteration of Fin Nexus will be a marketplace for hybrid decentralized / traditional financial products.
Features of using the project:
| Firstly | The project is a pioneer of the DeFi cross-chain protocol for writing options on multiple assets from collateral pools. |
| Secondly | This groundbreaking Multi-Asset Single Pool (MASP) methodology for decentralized peer-to-peer option platforms allows anyone, anywhere, to use or hedge their positions in various cryptoassets. |
| Thirdly | The project is currently powered by Ethereum and Wanchain and plans to extend its FinNexus blockchain-agnostic protocol for options (FPO) to other networks. |
The FNX token — the network token for the entire set of FinNexus protocol clusters. It serves a variety of purposes, including a means of payment, settlement, collateral, liquidity extraction, governance, voting and more. The Fin Nexus FNX platform was held in May 2020, using the innovative ICTO Fin Nexus token offering model, during which 44 million tokens were available. The subscription cost at the end of the event was ~ 95%.
The ICTO model gives FNX holders the right to convert a token (FNX) into some asset-backed token (UM1S token). The whole process is under control of the choice of investors.
Additional information
The developers provide a separate document, describing all features of the project. There you will find various sections with product information and answers to questions. Also, there is a blog on the Medium platform, where articles are available.
