Holders of GEN.Art tokens collectively compose and manage the project. It is a decentralized organization that will monitor key parameters of the platform, disburse funds from the treasury and vote on proposed platform improvements.

The work of the GEN.ART project
GEN.ART Improvement Proposals (GIP) - the method by which the community will propose updates and distributions through the $ GENART management. GIPs are created by token holders and published on the GEN.ART governance forum. This will initially be a #governance Discord channel, but it may evolve over time. Once a soft consensus has been reached, a vote will be taken on proposals to use out-of-network control via Snapshot.

When a proposal is discussed in the governance forum, it will be proposed on the snapshot page at https://gen.art. Voting proposals on the management snapshot platform are currently being created by the GEN.ART team, following discussions on the management forum or raised by the team. Over time, the administrative functions of the team will become decentralized and / or automated.
You will need a token in your wallet to be able to mint any art. You can sell or transfer your membership to another wallet. But only an active holder can mint.
