About blockchain project Give Together
Each week, the Ethereum Smart Contract identifies a new charity currently from the list. Interest is accrued from the Compound Protocol and redeemed under a smart contract, using rDai. The contract directs the funds to charity of the week. rDai is a revolutionary cryptocurrency that allows you to generate interest while keeping the exact amount you invested. rDai also lets you specify who to send your lead to. There are many use cases with this, such as donating to charity automatically.
Some features:
| Firstly | Once you activate your DAI with GiveTogether, your DAI will be exchanged for rDAI. |
| Secondly | The contract defines a new charity every week and at the end of the week a donation function is activated to send money to the selected project. |
| Thirdly | Each week, a new charity is selected to receive donor interest on GiveTogether. The donation will go directly to ETH charity accounts. |
DAI is a USD pegged stablecoin and serves as the primary donation method on GiveTogether. Activating your DAI on GiveTogether is as easy as paying for gas on the activation page.
At the end of each week, GiveTogether will redeem all interest. In addition to activating your DAI on Give Together, you can also simply send the ERC-20 token to the contract to take part in the Charity of the Week.
