Idle — a decentralized rebalancing protocol that allows users to manage the distribution of their digital assets between various third-party DeFi protocols automatically and algorithmically. You can maximize interest rate returns with the MaxYield strategy or minimize risk with a risk-based allocation strategy.

Description of the project
Idle connects to Compound, Aave, dYdX, Fulcrum and DSR, and also supports DAI, USDC and USDT. Security is fundamental at idle, which means products will only connect to protocols, verified by a leading security firm and battle-proven in terms of market timing and blocking digital assets.
When using the Idle protocol, the user provides capital for lending within the Idle non-storage smart contract pools. The protocol will automatically rebalance the current pool allocation to achieve optimized interest rates, based on the strategy.
Some features:
| 1 | You can access a custom Idle dashboard where you can deposit funds, track metrics and view analytics, rebalance funds, convert fiat to crypto and buy back your assets. |
| 2 | The rebalancing calculation involves evaluating the total assets in the pool, including the base interest rate and supply and demand functions, and finally determining the distribution that achieves the optimal interest rate possible after the rebalancing, based on the strategy. |
IdleTokens represent your balance in the protocol and accumulate interest over time. As the specific idle pool earns interest, the idleToken becomes convertible into a growing amount of the underlying asset. IdleTokens are ERC-20 compliant.
