Description of the IPFS-FPS project
IPFS-FPS – a free first person shooter on IPFS. First Person Shooter System (IPFS-FPS) is an FPS on IPFS. What makes this game unique? The game cannot be filmed or censored, and its build is open source. The game is hosted on IPFS, using tools like Ethereum and Unstoppable Domains.
The main components of the project:
| Unity | Install Unity to create and export your game for IPFS. |
| Github | Upload your game to Github for continuous deployment. This will create Fleek. |
| Fleek | Fleek gets content from Github and publishes it to IPFS. Any updates to Github will be automatically republished. |
| Unstoppable Domain | Buy a human readable domain name for your IPFS game and share it with the world. |
| Pinata.cloud | Pin static content such as images. Useful for meta tags. |
Visit Unity and install the game. Open the unity Hub and create a new project. Select WebGL and Switch Platform. Build and save your project. These files will be placed on IPFS. Create a Github account, go and click the new button. Add the exported files from Unity to the Github repository.
Add a new site. Contact Github and select an account. Once connected, select a project. Pinata offers an easy-to-use pinning service that is great for static content. Upload an image and then use it in your meta tags.
